Joka rubbed his forehead against Tayon's soothingly. "I'll be back. I promise." He whispered quietly in her ear. "Don't worry about me."
"But, what about the cub? Our cub..." Tayon said quietly, tears dripping down her face, the rain already soaked into her light fur.
"I'll be with you when our cub comes. I promise to you I will." He pressed his muzzle against hers one last time, then turned and ran off into the distance, the fog closing in on him, until he was no longer visable.
Tears streaming down Tayon's face now, she closed her eyes tightly. As much as she trusted Joka, with all her heart, she believed that he wouldn't be back.

I know this is a terrible picture. -.- I'm sorry! I thought it would come out a lot better than it did. =/ But, hey, its a finished product, and I might-as-well upload it. =3

man, did capture such intense emotion in this piece, very moving. I love the background, especially the rain! Tayon is gorgeous as well. :3
